Storage

Store your beef tallow in a cool, dry place. Keep the lid tightly sealed to prevent exposure to air and moisture.
Temperature Control

Avoid exposing tallow to extreme temperatures. It should be kept away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

If your tallow hardens in colder environments, simply warm it up slightly by placing the container in warm water (never microwave in plastic containers).
Handling

Use clean utensils to scoop out the desired amount to avoid contamination and preserve the tallow’s quality.

Keep the tallow free from water, as this could promote spoilage.
Gritty Texture

Note: Due to temperature fluctuations during shipping, your tallow may have developed a slightly gritty texture. This is completely normal and does not affect its quality or effectiveness.

How to Use: The gritty texture is still perfectly good to use as is. Simply warm the tallow in your hands for a few moments, and it will soften and become smooth.

Restore the Texture: If you prefer a smoother consistency: For a balm-like texture: Gently melt the tallow down (you can do this by placing it in a heat-safe container over a warm water bath) and allow it to cool to room temperature. For a whipped balm: Melt the tallow, then whip it while it’s cooling to create a light, airy consistency.
