Where do you source your beef tallow?

We source our suet exclusively from a local regenerative grass-fed farm right here in Genoa, Illinois. We know exactly where our ingredients come from — no factory farms, no mystery sourcing.

What is the difference between grass-fed and grain-fed tallow?

Grass-fed tallow is significantly richer in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, as well as conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which has anti-inflammatory properties. Grain-fed tallow lacks these nutrients making it far less beneficial for skin. We exclusively use grass-fed suet for this reason.

Are your products organic and non-toxic?

All Tallow Sanctuary products are free from synthetic fillers, fragrances, parabens, and preservatives. We use only clean, ancestral ingredients you can actually pronounce. While not certified organic, our tallow comes from a local regenerative grass-fed farm with no hormones or antibiotics.

The story behind Tallow Sanctuary — a small-batch, grass-fed tallow skincare brand born from eczema struggles, deep research, and a genuine love for what's real.

For years, I lived with chronic eczema. Not the kind you can easily conceal — the kind that flared up around my eyes, raw and persistent, no matter what I tried. I cycled through prescription creams, "clean" beauty products, and dermatologist appointments. Something would help briefly. Then it would come back.

I was tired of putting things on my skin I couldn't pronounce. I was tired of wondering if the "gentle" formula I was using was quietly making things worse. So I started researching — really researching — and that rabbit hole led me somewhere unexpected: ancestral nutrition, regenerative farming, and beef tallow.
